Safety Data Sheets

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are designed to:

  • Provide vital information for handling chemicals safely, including short and long-term health effects
  • Provide precautions for safe use
  • Provide vital first aid information
  • Must be kept on-site, and accessible to the cleaners using the products
  • Must be less than 5 years old
  • Must be supplied to an employee BEFORE he or she uses a hazardous chemical for the first time
  • You MUST know where you can access the SDS!
