Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are designed to:
- Provide vital information for handling chemicals safely, including short and long-term health effects
- Provide precautions for safe use
- Provide vital first aid information
- Must be kept on-site, and accessible to the cleaners using the products
- Must be less than 5 years old
- Must be supplied to an employee BEFORE he or she uses a hazardous chemical for the first time
- You MUST know where you can access the SDS!
